Résumé :
The Economics of Informality 2024 aims to provide a space for discussion between academics and policy makers, to promote interaction between researchers and to enhance the dissemination of knowledge on informality. Other disciplines different from economics are welcome to contribute to the academic discussion. The conference also strives for multidisciplinary engagement, inviting studies from various fields such as anthropology, political science, sociology, business administration, and beyond, as well as from diverse geographical regions.. Contributions that examine informality in any of the following areas are encouraged: agriculture, credit markets, labor markets, firms, market institutions, migration, mining, political economy, public policy, regulation, market segmentation, structural change, technical change, and urban planning. Both empirical and theoretical papers are welcome.
